Blend Shape issues - @Alan

So trying to sort out my blend shapes on the patches and every time I edit them on the right-hand side of the body they don't seem to be updating. The left side has been fine, tried to mirror over to see if it would copy, but that hasn't worked either


So editing the mesh, like I did on the other one.

But when I move the keyframe back to the natural position, however, I have edited it now seems to stay natural position. IT doesn't seem to shrink or grow, it stays however its been edited.

Been looking at what is going to be in the set for my animation, and thinking of what would be in a recording studio. So was thinking about amps, guitars, microphones etc.. 








Skinning Part 2

Updated skinning, added the waistcoat and patches. Finally feeling my model is coming together, as its taken me a long time to skin. hopefully I can finish the blend shapes fairly quickly

Skinning Part 1

Skinning has taken me far longer than it should have, but have finally finished. Just got to copy the skin weights to the waistcoat and then alter those if needed. I will then have sort the blend shapes out for those.

Ribbon Spine Help - Fixed

So I'm skinning my character and I have come across this small problem. I think I must of con something while putting together the ribbon spine. can anyone tell me how to fix this? or is it a case of deleting the history and redo the points and constraints again ?



So What I did in the end was rebuild the ribbon spine and imported it in, I must have connected the upper hair follicle to the lower locator or something silly like that. but all working fine now.


Uv Maps

Uv Maps are all done for my character. My Maya has had an update and did get rid of the old UV menu bar, so I had to do some research into what was new, got the hang of it pretty quickly, but didn't try the new features such as the 3D UV mapping. Really starting to come together, And will start skinning tomorrow



Waist Coat Update

So I have reworked the collar, as I was unhappy with the way it looked. In the end, I rebuilt the collar and then extruded the mesh and the deleted the faces I didn't need. I think it looks much better than the previous one I made
